Rick Vaccaro was born in New York and is one of three sons. Before getting into Real Estate, Rick worked for Federal Express in New York and San Francisco, and then began a long career in education. Rick worked as a teacher and administrator for the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District and the Solano County Office of Education.
Rick obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Sacramento State University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Chapman University. In 2008, Rick was appointed the Fairfield City council after the death of his friend and former student, Matt Garcia. He was re-elected in 2011 and served as Vice-Mayor until 2014. Rick was re-elected in 2016 and continues to serve on the City Council.
In 2018, Rick joined Annie Vogelpohl Real Estate after obtaining his Real Estate license. He has been married for 34 years to his wife Sue and together they have a son and a daughter, along with two grandchildren.
